my turtle keeps his eyes closed

my turtle keeps his eyes closed most of the time ... is that bad ??? he eats well and basks . when he is in the water his eyes are open but when he is out sitting on the basking area he keeps them closed and he is out most of the time except when feeding ... and he is kind of lazy ... there isnt anyting wrong with him is there???

It sounds like he's lethargic. That's not a good sign. What is his setup like? What is the basking and water temps? Are the eyes swollen or crusted over?

no his eyes are fine , no redness or crusts ... i vet gave him some eye drops but im not sure they are working
water temp is around 79 and he basks in the sun

What's the temp of the basking?
