I live just outside of Chicago. Over the weekend I was by a lake by my house and saw a huge res about 1ft from front to back. It looked healthy but I thought these were from farther south. Are res in this area or was this a pet at one time. The big question is will it be ok with the winters as cold as they are here. Thanks.
