The answer is not really. Males especially can be aggressive, so I would choose to keep him separate from another turtle. With female RES, you never know but there's always a risk.

Hi Steve first i appreciate all your help and replies to me i really do
second i want you to take a look at the shell and tell me what is wrong with it .. i dont think it’s infected because these white spots are not soft ... what can i do to cure these spots

I can't be certain if it is fungus from the picture, but it likely is. Mineral deposits sometimes collect around the ridges and might look like that. Fungus also doesn't make the white spots soft either as it only infects the top layer. viewtopic.php?f=5&t=10839
