Taking care of your turtle's overall health.

Hey guys,

I had 3 turtles for 7 years now, 2 males and 1 females. Tank is pretty big 5 or 6ft

The issue is I am starting to notice that one male shows mating behavior towards the female and the other male shows aggressive behavior like biting and scratching with nails on face of the female.

What I have done is separate the 2 males from the female. She laid an egg as soon as I did that and she destroyed it right away. I don't want eggs either just want the fighting male turtle to get along with the female.

Let me know if y'all experienced anything like this

Not much you can do but separate them. It's likely the males can't be kept together either.
