Hi! i'm a newbie here, a friend gave me two RES as a gift, he got it from a festival so we didn't know his condition then and since i'm new with raising a turtle, i would like to know how's my turtle shell is, i couldn't recognize if he has a shell rot or fungus, and i don't know what to do next, i would like to try the home remedy, but i want to ask first the condition of my RES, i'll post his pic here, thank you in advance!

Welcome to the forum! Not sure what's happening with the shell... it does come up often though. If it is fungus, some silver sulfadiazine would help.

Babies are more sensitive , vulnerable to changes and stress than adults. Babies should always be kept warmer than adults. Proper water temps and proper basking area temps will help in good shell condition , growth. And a good diet for a baby. UVA / UVB light ! Setup a good home for those two little one's and they will give you years of enjoyment ! Congratulation's on being a new parent !

Read the stickies above the different categories for help and ideas on what you will need , also read any comments and suggestion that go with them.

I'd keep a close eye on it. Any changes to color or texture, I would have a vet go see him.
