Hi all, I just opened this account yesterday and I'm excited to be apart of this online forum. Sadly, my first post is a question. After looking at some of the pictures of other RES I've noticed that the shells are nice and smooth. I've had mine for about 8-9 or months now and his shell is a bit rough. He's been shedding a good deal but it seems his scales are being replaced with new scales. I've attached a phot here. Any idea as to what might be the problem if there's is a problem?

Poor/irregular diet and other habitat issues (uvb?).

Any more details about your setup? Size of your turtle?
