General Care Discussion :: How long do I have?

1-yr old, 5", and 2-yr-old, 6". Presumed both were female but they are breeding. Male is the smaller one. How long do I have to provide nest? Thanks

It will vary, but it's not recommend to let them breed. Mature males will also need to be kept separate from other turtles.

Depends on the size, but a 1-yr old at 5" is pretty big and probably close to being able to lay eggs (though probably not healthy ones).
