My res has shell fungus, i already know that and his shell is peeling left and right. I know for this you would need Silver sulfadiazine cream which is only with prescription (or so they say ) so i contacted my vet and they want to charge me 100$ JUST TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT, 50$ for them to JUST look at the turtle, 50$ for the exam and another unknown cost for the medicine.
Ive found a way to get the cream off of a "vet direct" place who was also willing to sell to people like me who dont want to get scammed by vets.
Now when i get this, what are the steps? Like do i put some on the turtle, then dry dock overnight, and repeat?

The costs you laid is fairly typical, the meds will probably be in the $7-15 range. As for directions, it might depends on the severity of the infection you're dealing with.
