"Male" Map Turtle

Hello, I recently adopted this large map turtle, and I'm PRETTY sure it's a common map turtle. II'm posting these pictures because his colours are pretty faded, so he might be fairly old, not sure on the age. I also say "male" because he has pretty long back claws, and a bit above average long front claws, but his tail is fairly small. Honestly I don't know much about map turtles, so would anyone be able to confirm if this is normal? Also, he's the first map turtle I've seen with dots behind/above his eyes instead of thick stripes, the dots don't connect to any stripes either.

I'm pretty bad at IDs but I would say a female Graptemys ouachitensis ... Ouachita map or Sabine map turtle.

As in native or for sale? Where did you get it from?

I got her from Kijiji, I don't know where they got her though.

I'd read over a few caresheets, you might need to change water levels and/or substrate.
