My two inch red eared slider has ear abcess. I have no more money for the month to cure it, because I spent the money on new tank setup and filter and everything. I can't bear to see this lil guy suffer. I emailed the vet and the vet said my res is too small to euthanize. Then, I saw my four inch red eared slider tried to bite the lil guy's head. That SCARED me, so I separate them by placing the big one in a plastic storage box. What do I do now? None of my friends want the lil guy. It's like one problem arised after another. :(

Sorry to hear it. An abscess doesn't have to be life threatening nor would euthanasia be appropriate remedy here. Have you checked with any rescues in your area?
