General Care Discussion :: My female turtle keeps fluttering her hands.

Taking care of your turtle's overall health.

Okay, so my one bigger turtle seems keen on the other turtles attention. Maybe it's because they're not in that big of an enclosure (55g) but she sometimes flutters her arms at the other female. Will she stop this behaviour or is she going to be problematic? I am keeping close watch. She only bit the other turtle once and she did it briefly. Which now the other turtle gets out of the bigger turtles way.

But is there any way to resolve conflict without having to seperate them? Or am I going to have to seperate them at this point?

Hmm I'll try but they're stuck together for a while until i set up their other enclosure (I'd need another stand that's why and another set of filters)

All you can do is watch them then.
