I rarely see my turtle poop but he seems very healthy. Today I finally saw him pooping and it was not a normal turtle poop.
It almost looked like lightly digested strips of celery with a bit of normal poop between the strips.
There is a sword tail plant in the aquarium which he doesnt eat and hasn't started eating vegetables.
I have another flake plant which even if he did eat would not have made his poop look like that.
I feed him a small amount of turtle pellets daily and every couple of days I give him a high in vitamin e pellet to help promote shedding.
Lastly, I think my turtle eats his poop daily. He's like a garbage disposal and eats his poop and my eels poop. At least I'm assuming so since I never see either.
