i noticed today that one of my turtles, the one that is shedding scutes has some kind of wound on its front leg, here is a picture of it, what could this be? is it something i should worry about?

Did he get bit?

That's what it looks like.

I have seen on here where people recommend neosporin for light wounds like that.

could she have been bitten accidentally by the other turtle while trying to eat?

Yes, turtles will bite each other. Sometimes by accident and other times intentionally due to aggression. Keep an eye on them to see if they are getting along.

Are there any decorations in the tank that would cause a cut or scrape? This also could be what may have happened.
