I studied red eared sliders in my biology course. It was interesting to say the least, but horrible as I had to dissect one. I found tumors on her pancreas, so her death saved her from a life full of pain and suffering.

I have a few diagrams which are a little more in depth than what jenaero posted, they may be helpful to some of you:

I also have pictures of the labeled parts on a real turtle. These pictures were from my book, and are for instructive purposes only. I will not post the pictures here as they are graphic and I would not want to subject you all to that. I will provide the links to them, for those of you who may be interested in that sort of thing.

I found another site that has pictures of REAL GRAPHIC anatomy. It is a display at the New England Aquarium in Boston.

Frankly speaking I thought there woould be more bones in the turtle's body.

I thought there would be more bones, too. I've seen cartoon turtles pop out of their shells (Take Verne from Over the Hedge, for example), so I would thought that for some turtles, their shells look like they'd be easy to remove but nope. Their shells are apparently part of their anatomy; their spine is connected to the shell from the looks of it.

A turtle drawing, with a simple question scrawled at the bottom, "Where are the turtle ears?" made its way to my desk the other day. The drawing, sketched by a young child, showed the turtle with no ears. The child asked me "How does he hear?

I've been eyeing this thread for ages and finally got the nerve to click the graphic pictures (the first bunch, anyway).
I wasn't as horrified as I had anticipated.

I just came across these images of a turtle's anatomy a few minutes ago. They're not labeled but they're amazing. You can see the full set at http://www.brainpickings.org/index.php/2012/06/20/turtle-anatomy-1820/, which is where I got the illustrations.
