I joined your forum looking for help. We came home to find what looks like it may be red eared turtle in our front yard in Tucson AZ? We live on a busy 6 lane street & can only guess someone let their pet go & it ended up here (I can figure no other way it got here.) Can anyone ID the type of turtle from the pic? What do we do now? My husband would like to keep it but I have no idea what to do? We have pets but only the fluffy kind. Thanks in advance for any info!
