What do you do when you change the water? Can you give me a step-by-step process? At some point, you will need to use some activated carbon or possibly let the chlorine evaporate first.

First I poor all the water out of the tank and scrub it to make sure I get all the extra poop off of the bottom. Next I rinse it and poor warm water but not to warm. And then I add the lettuce and put her in there. Btw I only have one turtle now the female one. And how do evaporate the chlorine?

Let the water sit for 12-24 hours before you add your turtle into it. Or use some activated carbon into your filter media.
