So I have a friend who has a RES. He recently bought it and a few days after, a part of his plastron started to flake off. He thought it's shell rot and removed the flakes and treated it with Betadine. He applied it for at least 5 days now. Is this really shell rot? And if it is, how to cure this at home? There's no veterinarian nearby and we don't know anyone either. How to prevent shell rot? Thaaank you in advance guys
