Possible shell rot?

I’ve sent these pics over to her vet and have to make an appointment tomorrow. She said it could be shell rot... anyone have an idea what it could be? She’s going to the vet but just to calm my nerves I’d like to know if anyone noticed what it is. The orange/red spots on her shell. Thanks!

Not sure what it is. But if it’s not sensitive or has a different texture, it’s probably nothing to be concerned about.

I just left the vet with her. It was retained shedding!
