Hello everyone,

While cleaning our tank out today, we noticed our little guy had some scarring on his tail and it's very swollen.

He does live in the tank with a larger female and I thought maybe she bit him. It kind of looks like it could be a blocked anus, as while inspecting him brownish liquid (same color as the turtle poop) appeared to be trickling from his anus.

Does anyone know what this could be?

We have isolated him into another tank for the time being as I am worried the female may pick on him.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure but she might have bit his penis and injured it and his cloaca. I would take him to a good herp vet as soon as you can
