Baby Northern Diamondback Terrapin Lethargic and Barely Eats
Posted: Tue Apr 17, 2018 3:45 pmI have a baby diamondback terrapin about 2 months old and 1 inch. I am keeping him with a baby RES roughly the same size. The baby will only eat dried shrimp and no pellets. The baby will only have about 1/5 of a small red shrimp per day. It spends a lot of time out of the water just sleeping. I feed him in a separate enclosure from the tank because it would not eat in the tank. Please help. I am not sure what is wrong. It appears to be healthy visually

Water temp: 80 degrees
Basking: 88 degrees
Hiding places in tank: yes
Substrate: bare bottom
Lighting: uvb and zoomed heat light
Food: tried multiple zoomed foods, Hikari and others but will only eat dried red shrimp
