Turtle Type: Red Eared Slider
Age: 8 years
Location of Origin: Florida, droven to maryland for pickup
Take Size: 90 gallons
Water in tank: 45 gallons
Turtles in tank: 2
Specifications: 130 gallon filter, Plexiglass Seperator
Light: Just a standard UVB Light, my old one broke
Water Temp: A little cold, but not freezing
Water Condition: Foggy (Would like help on this too)
Vet: None that seem to help with turtles (Annapolis, Maryland)

What is wrong: I see these brown crevaces in the turtles shell and I want to get ahead of anything that is happening with her, she has laid eggs once, but apparently she ate them, I have no idea why either, no major opperations, the two turtles started fighting about 3 months ago and we decided to separate them.

Do you have any pictures? It's normal for the shells to become darker, and males can also become melanastic.

Nothing unusual from the pictures, the shell looks pretty smooth. You might want to a gently cleaning to check to see if there are any hidden issues or if thats the reason for the discoloration.
