So recently I saw a bright green spot on my turtles shell, i'm not exactly sure what it is or what caused it. Can someone help me with this issue?

Hello , as turtles grow and shed a lot will get a darker color and the patters do change. With my turtles I see once in a while a shed with lighter color scutes here and there over my time in this hobby. Any photo's ?

Photo like litefoot mentioned would be helpful, but at this point it might just be algae.
