Hello
I have three sliders but one of them has his own tank. The other two are brother and sister about 5 years old. They have always lived together since they were born. However now all of a sudden the male is fighting with my female and she has cuts and sores all over her neck. What should I do?
I was considering getting them all a huge tank but now I'm wondering if that would be a bad idea.

Yes, males almost always need to be separated. A large tank is good ONLY if it can be divided. More room alone will not make a difference.

I knew the males would have to be separated. At this point I'm really worried about my male and female.

Males have to be separated from other males AND females. And some females are like that as well. RES are just an aggressive species.
