Urgent Care :: Post healing after ear abscess surgery

Hello,

I've a 1.5 year slider which unfortunately, gotten ear abscesses roughly few months ago.
Been dry docking him/ her after the surgery and he's been in the tank for nearly 3 weeks now.
I've noticed that the ear has this whitish layer.

Is it scar tissue or abscess coming back?
Background info, I change 20% everyday or every other day.
Have a canister filter with bio media I've been cycling for awhile now.
Have a heat lamp and a UVB bulb on couple hours everyday.

No idea but I would increase the dry dock time, maybe just overnight. Did the vet give any post-surgery instructions?

Yes she did.
Told me to dry dock 3 days which I did for 2 weeks btw.
It's been 3 weeks since he went back into the water which would be erm 5 weeks after the surgery already.
