How big is your turtle? I do not know currently, I will purchase measuring tape ASAP.
How long have you had it? About a year and a half, I found him in my pool?

What is the water temperature? I do not know.
Did you use a thermometer? No. I think I'll have to purchase one. Any recommended brands?
Are you using a water heater? No, the water stays warm from the basking light.
How much water is in there? The amount appropriate for my turtle's size. (I know the general rule.)
Are you using a water conditioner? Yes.
Are you using any filtration? Yes.

What is the basking temperature? I am not sure, but I purchased a basking light specifically made for RES.
Is there a basking light? Yes.
Is there a basking platform that is easy to climb on? Yes.
What kind is it or what is it made out of? CLICK.
Is there a UVB light? Yes.

What have you been trying to feed it? I have been feeding it ZooMed's red shrimp and ReptoMin floating food sticks.
When was the last time your turtle ate? This morning, when I fed it. It's had no problem eating. I think I may have fed him too much.

How big is the tank/pond/enclosure? I don't remember.
Is the tank near a window? Yes, but it's usually closed. (Blinds.)
Is the tank in a room with a lot of activity? My room. :( So none...

Have you read the Basic Care section? Yes.
Have you searched the forums for similar situations? Mhm, and from what I have gathered, it's either innocent or URGENT.

Is there any other unusual activity/symptoms? None at all. It's still as crazy active as ever.

I really hope I am overreacting! I had never noticed it before, could it be the shrimp? (I just started feeding it that.)
Also, I left my turtle in a little bucket for about thirty minutes while I cleaned its tank. Could that be why? The blood just rushing down because its not moving around?

My turtle is chilling in its crib, looking happier than ever.

What do you think I should do?

Could be irritated from a rough substrate/basking area or a sign of excessive growth.

Ha! "Wait for steve" - Steve's the man!

My toph is about the same size and had those same type of spots, I took the recommendation of feeding her a little less and they're slowly fading away. -
