How big is your turtle? A tad longer than two inches
How long have you had it? About six weeks

What is the water temperature? 80
Did you use a thermometer? Yes
Are you using a water heater? Yes
How much water is in there? The tank is almost full, about an inch under the rim
Are you using a water conditioner? Yes - Tetra ReptoSafe
Are you using any filtration? Yes - Tetra Power filter 10-20

What is the basking temperature? About 93 (I just raised the heat lamp a bit so it goes down a few degrees)
Is there a basking light? Yes
Is there a basking platform that is easy to climb on? Yes
What kind is it or what is it made out of? Floating foam
Is there a UVB light? I'm not sure, it's a EcoTerra 75 watt Swamp or Daylight, I believe Swamp.

What have you been trying to feed it? He currently gets a few Reptomin plus pellets every day I(i'm going to start instructing my dad, who cares for him while i'm at school, to do so matching the size of his head) with a small chunk of frozen bloodworms OR a mealworm substituted twice a week. Going to start giving him lettuce soon.
When was the last time your turtle ate? About two hours ago.

How big is the tank/pond/enclosure? 10 Gal, moving to a 40+ gal asap
Is the tank near a window? No
Is the tank in a room with a lot of activity? No

Have you read the Basic Care section? Yes
Have you searched the forums for similar situations? Yes

Is there any other unusual activity/symptoms? He's acting like a totally normal happy turtle but i'm paranoid. He's got a long string of skin hanging from his tail region and he's shedding a tiny bit at the neck/shoulders. I'm going to try and post a video, at least a pic.

Shedding skin is pretty normal and should look thin and whispy, it should also be almost invisible when he's out of water.

Then we should be good. I've seen that it's normal and that it's not, but I wasn't sure. Thank you!
