This is an update from caroline95738's turtle. The turtle was brought to the vet and performed some small surgery on the wound. The wound had been stitched and antibiotic was given to apply on the wound daily.
However, currently there's a new problem. The turtle will not eat anything and will fall asleep almost immediately whenever she's placed inside her water basin. It is the first time that she behaves this way.
I have done some research online and it says that certain antibiotics can cause turtles to be inactive and sleepy, but I want to make sure, as she hasn't been eaten for a few days and both me and Caroline are very worried about it :'(
Is there any possible causes and solutions to this problem?
