My turtle fell from a height of 1.5m and suffered external injuries-a small part of the flesh where her nails are connected to her limb is broken. She was placed in a basin of water for 5-6 hours by my brother during which she was still bleeding but my brother didn't know. After that I got home, I took her out of the water, applied diluted betadine solution and wrapped cotton around her injury. She is alert, conscious, doesn't appear to be in pain and keeps crawling around even though that may strain her injury. However she has been bleeding for 5-6 hours and I'm very worried that her flesh might spoil/rot off. how can i help her as of now? planning to bring her to a vet first thing in the morning as vet clinics are closed now. can it heal completely? thanks

How much bleeding was there? Have you been keeping her dry docked? How did it look after you tended to it?
