Hello everyone!

I have two males (Alex & Jamie) and two female (Nora & Simone) sliders kept separately in different tanks all day long except in the mornings when they are out and about around my house for a few hours. My females are two years old and the males are 3.5.

This morning I woke up to find four eggs on the floor! One of them was burst open. I highly doubt they are fertilized. I have always been advised to throw away the eggs and that is what I did. I don't know which one of my two females laid them. It is extremely possible that my males and females have been in contact inside water -- I have a flat deep water bowl near the window and they tend to jump in & out of it from time to time. I can still feel eggs inside of Simone & Nora. There has been NO CHANGE in their eating/sleeping habits and neither one of them has seemed restless at all.

Is it possible for female sliders to lay eggs without mating? They seem too young to mate.
How many more eggs do I need to watch out for?
Is there anything I can do to help her?
Do I need to be worried at all?

Here are some pictures of the girls and their rear legs where I can possibly see & feel some eggs. I have also attached pictures of the laid eggs.

I have isolated the girls in a room and put wet and dry towels all around them for a few hours just in case they lay more eggs. I don't know what else to do!
Any help would be appreciated!

Yes. They may be young, but they look quite large - enough to mate.

Not sure. If there is mating, there will obviously be more.

Feel for eggs. Maybe increase some of her dietary calcium.

It's all part of turtle keeping. How's her tank, water temps, filtration, basking, diet, etc ?
