they're being kept in a tank, don't have a heater yet but keep changing their water so the temp stays desirable for them, put them in front of direct sun on days and they have a dry area in the tank for basking, with a heater lamp above the tank. they have swim time and dry time (i think) properly
*not ONCE have i seen them eat! but i guess seeing them up and about while having them swim is not entirely a sign of malnutrition. at first i bought dried krills for them and tried to feed them 2-3 times (whole krills, and crushed), all unsuccessfully, then i got ReptoMin turtle stick food for them, again, haven't seen it get eaten
*now one of them seems extremely subdued, last night he woulnd't retract his neck when i was patting him on the head (i'm told they don't like having their heads touched and will retract), all the time with his eyes closed. now it's the next morning and i can't quite determine if his eyes are still shut or has he come down with an eye infection, but i think it's safe to say that they're just a tad swollen, tried human Ciprofloxacin/Chloramphenicol eye drops on his this morning and i'm waiting to see what happens.
any help would be immensely appreciated as i rescued them from tiny cages in a gruesome petshop
