I have a RES that I got about 3 months ago. I have been letting her run around my 2 bedroom apt. She then goes back into her tank. I let her out last night when some of my friends were over and after a while I decided to put her in the tank but couldn't find her! I have been looking for a day now and it has been a full 24 hours since she has been lost! I tore many things apart and still have yet to find her. The thing about her is she is slightly larger than my hand! She has never disappeared like this before! I took everything off the floor and moved around furniture, checking under, behind, and in. The temperature where I live has been 50's and 60's now and I am worried. I have tried different things I have found in other forums, plates with water and some food, a small bin with water and fish and a ramp. a basking spot....she has not ate anything off any of the plates or has made her way to the basking spot. I am even thinking about getting a 2nd turtle to find it!? Any thoughts?
