I BELIEVE MY DONNY HAS R.I.!!!! PLEASE READ AND ADVISE
I am sorry to have to post a new topic, but my baby yellow belly Donny is really scaring me! I believe he may have a respiratory infection. At first he was having difficulty eating or building up an appetite, until finally last night he ate a few blood worms. But, now today as I placed some pellets, shrimp, and crickets Donny eased into the water and instead of swimming to the food he kind of just floated along and he was lopsided! As he tried to swim, he did so sluggishly and a few bubbles came out of his nostrils. So having said that, I believe these are signs of R.I.
Donny does have an appointment tomorrow with the vet, can anyone suggest anything for now??? I would truly appreciate it! Below I posted some pics and answered the important questions...also note that his upper shell is really soft.

Does Donny's shell look like it might have fungus or something else?
