I JUST noticed my guy hanging out on the floating rock when the lights are off. This isn't common for him. I looked closer and saw what I assumed was his penis hanging out. After a couple of google searches, I'm unsure if it's fanning or prolapse. Please see the attached photo. What should I do??

I would get him to a vet asap to be on the safe side.

I will be calling in the morning if there is no improvement. I live in TN and unfortunately sliders are illegal here but my hometown vet in AL is only an hour away.

I will keep checking this post in case someone else has any thoughts. Thanks Troops!

Looks like a prolapse. Hopefully it was kept moist and I would try applying some honey onto it.
