Urgent Care :: HELP!!! Strange spot on my baby's shell

My baby's shell has a strange white/yellowish spot on her shell...I tried posting a picture but i couldnt (it was telling me it was too big).

My thinking it might be fungus....???

What should i do?

From the picture, it looks like its a possible breach in the shell showing a boney layer. Any idea how it happened? When was the last time your turtle shed?

I have no idea how it happened......Turttle shed not that long ago...hmm probably 2 weeks ago?

Can you post a picture of the entire shell? In isolated areas, it'll flake off and reveal a little flesh and blood which will quickly scar over and harden.

It did show a litle bit if blood yesterday when i checked it.... Im sorry steve about not answering the questions . I was so worried that i didnt even read the "read before posting" link . I will take a pic of her entire shell today when i ger home. Thanks a lot for your help!

Here are the pictures

In some pics, the "wound" has a redish or pink color. I took the picture right after I took the turtle out of the tank so she was wet (of course). In the last pictures the wound looks yellow, so I took tha picture when her shell was 100% dry

Can you feel it? Does it feel rough?

Yes it does feel rough,!

Then it is probably a bone layer.

Would that heal by itself? Or would that require a vet visit?

If it doesn't get worse (larger), it should heal by itself. If they're no progress, it should be seen by a vet.
