Urgent Care :: 2 gravid females?

Hello
I'm new here so please be nice. I have 2 female RES and I found an egg in the tank the other day. Upon inspection I found that both my girls are gravid I do believe. I can feel them. I can see them and the girls are acting funny.
My problem is.... Is it even time for them to be gravid or am I a horrible pet parent and they've been retaining these eggs FOREVER? I'm worried because when I put them in the nesting area one only hurries herself and the other laid one egg but it looked rotten and she ate it.

Help!!!!!!

Welcome to the forum! How big are the turtles? As for when.. they can be gravid at anytime when they're kept indoors. Just throwaway the eggs when you come across them.
