My RES is 10 years old and was found on the street of downtown Calgary. These conditions left a scar on her stomach that will never heal. The owner I got her from adopted her from the Humane Society. When i came to pick her up from her previous owner, her water conditions did not look good. The water looked foggy with large pieces of extra food and the level of the water was low. There were a few days during the summer that a significant amount of water was lost and wasn't able to gain access to her basking area and the white lines on her skin became pink. After I refill the tank she's back to her normal colour by the next day. Does this mean she has Septicemia? I'm planning on taking her in to the vet in the spring but i'm wondering if I should bring her in earlier. :msgreen:

A little pink around certain parts of the skin is normal. Can you post a picture of it?
