Urgent Care :: I DONT KNOW WHAT'S WRONG WITH MY TURTLE

i just got a turtle yesterday and she has what looks like mucus coming off her neck and her shell looks strange what could it be

can you post a picture? Where did you get her/him from? How big is she/he?

It might just be shedding some skin. Whats your set up like? Tank size, lights?

i got her from a customer at the fish store I work at (the store cant take her so i did) shes fifteen and only 6-8 in the man had no heat in her tank no basking spot and no UVBs. she is now in a 40 breeder with heat basking spot im putting a canister filter on her setup tomorrow along with (hopefully) a uvb strip light at the moment she has spare lights for my cora reef fish tank.

Mucus could come from the nostrils or mouth. If it's hanging from the neck, it might just be shedding skin.
