My pet res Bubbles' carapace is peeling at the edges! It has been like that for a while now. She doesn't seem to be getting rid of it or shedding or something. Should i peel them off? Will it hurt her? There are some pictures here: http://trailerparkturtles.wordpress.com/2013/01/07/bubbles-carapace-peeling/ Please help... :(

That looks like normal shedding. It's tough when the edges aren't ready to go. If you "help" remove the thin, flexible areas it will still leave the ridge pieces.

The very edge of his marginal scutes, there the top (carapace) meets the bottom (plastron).
