hi..
was just wondering whether this kind of behaviour is normal or not?? anyone knows??
my turtles open their mouth and take in some air and blow bubbles out in the water.. is it some kind of sickness??

eating bubbles/air sacs seem pretty normal, but blowing bubbles? that i'm not sure. it may be an early sign of RI? can you identify other irregular behavior, like swimming in circles or swimming to the side? if not, then maybe the turtle is just having fun blowing bubbles. in the video you can see that the turtle is kinda leaning on the suction cups. it is like that everyday? also, is the turtle eating?

other than blowing bubbles.. i dun see any unsual behavior.. and yea they are still eating.. hopefully they are just playing with bubbles :D thx by the way

From the video, it looks like it's trying to swallow some larger bubbles and it's just air coming out.

I have this problem - not to that extreme (which, by the way, from what I can tell: the good news is that there's nothing wrong with him).

Fortunately, you are the one that needs to change. It looks like there's too much protein in his diet (which means you're feeding him too much)

How much is he eating? How often? What are you feeding him?

Your turtle is adorable!!

thx!! :) i fed him with reptomin pellets abt 3/4 pellet a day.. is tat too much?
