Urgent Care :: Problem with turtle's hind legs

About two days ago, I noticed that my 8 month turtle is not swimming with its hind legs. My turtle eats regularly and gets the correct amount of light. He also does not show any signs of impaction. When I hold him some of its joints look swelled, but he does move them (he just fails to use them to swim and walk). In other words, he just has them dragging around or floating on the water. I do have another turtle that is heavier and an inch bigger. May have my bigger turtle hurt him, even though my sick turtle does not show any injuries? Please let me know of what you guys think is wrong with my turtle. If problem persists I will take him to a vet. Thank You.

I would keep them separated until this is sorted out. Are the legs sensitive to touch? Can they retract?

Yes I have them separated for two days now. Today my turtle seems to have more mobility with its legs but still struggles and prefers to leave them dragging, especially its left leg. My turtle only retracts its legs when I'm holding him, but when swimming his back legs do not retract; when on dry land he attempts to retract his right leg but the left one doesn't show any signs to move.

Oh... And he does not appear to be sensitive with his legs.

If there isn't any greater improvement or any visible signs of injury then I would consider a vet visit.

I just came from the vet and the Doctor said he is fine. He has some inflammation on his legs and he vaccinated him. So in about a week there should be results and that I should take my turtle on sunlight and grass for about 15 mins everyday. Thank You for your help!
