I have found shells that my turtles have left in the water. I know that they should be laid on land but what should I do? I heard possibly taking the female res to an isolated spot to lay more eggs could be good. Any ideas would help thanks.

You want your turtle to expell any eggs she may have in her so that she doesn't become egg-bound. Create an easily accessible place where she can lay eggs when/if she feels the need. The site mentioned will help you, but the nest doesn't need to be elaborate.

Has your turtle mated? If not, the eggs won't be fertile and can be discarded.
