Turtles will naturally put things in their mouths and eat them even if they are not hungry. Its the reason this site doesn't recommend having gravel/rocks on your tank. The rule is to feed them about the amount that would fit in their mouth if they took on big bite (ie; the size of their head). You normally feed turtles once every couple days once they get older. I've gone for over a week before while on vacation.

Take the rocks and anything she can put in her mouth out of the tank. Carefully and quickly scoop up her poop for the next couple of weeks to make sure she's expelled all of them and you had a chance to remove them.
