Ive had my RES about a year now and shes starting to show these weird white spots on her shell. I hope its just shedding, but I thought id ask to try and be sure. Im pretty sure its just shedding. She did rapidly grow this year, she went from 3 1/2 inch in a tiny little carry tank (The kind you transport fish in) to the 100gal I bought her about 6 months ago, she'll be 8 inches in a couple of months at this rate and I know she has to be at least 3 years old now. How big is your turtle? About 7 1/2 inches ling at the shell
How long have you had it? A year exactly
What is the water temperature? 80f
Did you use a thermometer? When she doesn't break it, yes lol (I have the stick on ones, but I don't trust them.)
Are you using a water heater? Yes
How much water is in there? 85 gal approx
Are you using a water conditioner? Yes, Zilla Aquatic Reptile Water Conditioner
Are you using any filtration? Fluval 405
What is the basking temperature? Not sure
Is there a basking light? Yes
Is there a basking platform that is easy to climb on? Yes

What have you been trying to feed it? Darker Lettuce, some apples and grapes. Shes a bit picky. Will not feed her live fish.
When was the last time your turtle ate? At this point in time, couple of hours

Is the tank near a window? No
Is the tank in a room with a lot of activity? No
Have you read the Basic Care section? Yes
Have you searched the forums for similar situations? Some look similar, but nothing definite, and pictures don't exactly match.
Is there any other unusual activity/symptoms? Nope, shes just as spry as ever. No signs of discomfort.
