My turtle's name is Shelby and she's almost 5 years old..
For a few days she's been all jumpy, not eating and kicking her tail.. so I check for eggs (both sides) Nothing. I put her in the dirt in the garden so see if she'll do any type of digging but no she just tried to escape like usual... on the first day she was jumpy she had like green mini diarrhea floating around (green water) I thought this is only something that would only happen once so the next day it happened again. She's jumpy all day trying to get out of the pool, the tank, the sink... bleh. The only times where she's calm is when it's night and when she's basking. Today the diarrhea is a lot less than a few days ago so I thought she was making a bit of progress but when I brought her back in after dinner and put her in the tank she started gagging/trying to throw up and rubbing her head with her hands and she did the hand thing more often now but not the gagging until today. For the tail kicking I tried warm water twice.. but nothing happened in the sink. I heard you can use Hikari fish wheat-germ to help digestion and it's full of fiber could that help her?I can't but mineral oil because idk where it is and if it's like a pharmacy item I doubt they'd let me because I'm under 18.

What could this be? I'm really worried and sad. Or could this be that cooked shrimp I gave her for a treat? If it is, no more shrimp for her.

Could this be impaction? Cuz of the gagging and tail kicking. I'm not sure what's with the jumpiness and diarrhea..

You should look into taking her a vet. Ussually with throwing up like that indicates she has some kind of lung infection. Not eating is another good sign too. Usually with impaction you would see nothing like your seeing.

Thanks :)

Hopefully I can convince my dad to bring her... I hope paying for the visit can convince him enough..

Last week, she ate her tank-fishmate buddy.. so I bought another one thinking that one would last a few months but she ate it the next day..

The tail kicking has gone down which is good.. but now I see her sneezing and face wiping when she's basking..and sometimes I see her mouth is slightly open to breathe (but not open enough to see her toungue and stuff) I guess it's a respiratory infection... The only free days where my dad doesn't work is the weekends so I'll try to convince him to bring her to the vet next week before I head off to NYC for 2 weeks the week after that.

For the past 2 weeks she's been eating:
1 week: 2 live fish prey, some chicken.
The next week: cooked shrimp (treat) Yes know I shouldn't feed her that and half an earthworm that's all she hasn't been eating since that worm.

Okay, I'll try to get Reptomin pellets this week since she doesn't like the current one. She wouldn't even eat one of her favorite foods but she has like the cravings and urges to eat, I gave her a tiny piece of sardine and she just sniffed it for a while and went back to living life.
Sneezing: she had a few fits wiping her nose, shaking her head and arms(idk why the arms, legs too) and a bit of mucus came in the late morning-mid-afternoon when I brought her to the baby pool to bask and she wasn't too jumpy at that time, she barely scratched me when I picked her up to put her on the ground to bask in the remaining sun but now a few hours later she's jumpy again and no sneezing just a bit of that breathing I described before.

Was the mucus just from her being out of the water for a long time?

Maybe.. idk why?
Now she's doing well so far, she's not too hyper like before and she's started to eat again :)

It's normal to see a bit of mucus if they've been out of water for a long period of time.
