Leaning or swimming to a particular side. Sort of off-balanced, that sometimes causes swimming in a circle.

Thanks steve. I guess Henry is ok. He just leans on one side when he floats sometimes, with one front leg anchored at the bottom of the tank. Got scared yesterday. He kept opening his month even when basking. Increased the basking temp and he stopped opening his mouth. Seems ok now. Only saw him open his month 3x in the last 7 hours

If you do raise water levels, make sure there is something that he could rest on, though he should easily be able to float too.

Is the resting area separate from the basking area? If the resting area is different from the basking area, what could I use as resting area? Thanks again.

It can be different. Some people have basking areas with a lower level but you can use things like a large rock, another platform (like a resin platform) or even an upside down soap dish. You can probably wait until you pick up a larger tank, so it's not cramped in there. This is completely optional, so don't worry about it.
