Urgent Care :: My Turtle ate too much and vomited

Hi, i need SERIOS HELP!

i have an eastern long neck turtle called Terry and he is about just over 3 years old. My Dad and i go down to the lake and get him little baby carp to eat and she LOVES THEM!! But the problem is, THIS time, we caught alot of fish and put them all in the tank, she started to eat them but she kept eating...and eating...and eating! SUDDENLY she opened her mouth really wide and vomited up abot 100 little carp! THIS IS URGENT!! I NEED HELP ON WHAT TO DO!!!! should i seperate the fish into a different tank and feed them to her regually? PLEASE HELP!! Thanks <3

Yes, you should seperate the fish. Feed only a few a day. Turtle will do that can go crazy until they vomit it back up. Luckily its nothing to worry this is a normal thing sometimes and it didnt hurt the turtle. It just taught you a lesson about moderation with feeding your turtle fish.
