Urgent Care :: Fight turtle

Ok so my turtles started fight all of a sudden they have been in the tank with each other for about 2yrs now and my feamle RES attacked my male RES and I noticed what looked like a bloody sack that was hanging out of my males tail that my female was so eager to bite off which she did and now the tank is full of blood...... sorry to be detailed about the blood.... should i be worried?

You should be very worried and bring your male turtle to an emergency vet if she did bite it off. That was his male organ. If she bit it off he will likely die from blood loss if the bleeding isn't stopped.

Agreed, your turtle needs emergency vet visit. Death is unavoidable if you do not take it to a vet, his penis was bitten off like love of animals said. Bad news is i heard fixing this when this has happen can be expensive. Some people opt for the cheaper thing of just having it put down. Goodluck.

THANKS for the help guys.....I have been checking on him every moment I get he seems fine.. he stopped bleeding about 10 min after my post and his tail seems to be just fine but i did see like a little worm looking thing hanging from his tail that eventually fell off by its self

So she didn't bite it off like you said in your first post. That's great. First post you said bloody sack. Second post worm looking thing. I know it's difficult with blood everywhere and the chaos when it first happens. Can you post a pic of the injury site dry and of the worm looking thing that fell off so we can see what you're dealing with? We want to help but it's difficult if we don't know what's going on. At the very least keep an eye out for infection and consider separating. Aggression usually will get worse not better. Good luck.
