I thought this would be something good to clear up.

I know many people do not know how much a herp vet visit cost, and including myself :D.

How much does a visit to the Herp vet cost????

Under regular circumstances, my vet charges $35 for the visit. I've never had to get meds from him so I don't know about that. Even so, I'm lucky because he's never charged me :-)

Call a few and ask. Fees can vary quite a bit.

My vet charges $38 because it's an "exotic species".

Also, my vet "surprised" me with a salmonella test which I didn't ask for and cost me $100. Make sure your vet explains to you what they are planning to do (especially if they run tests).
