They can be fixed but it's quite expensive (I think remember reading somewhere about 4X what it would cost for a dog, for example). Being so expensive and likely dangerous for the turtle, enforced abstinence would seem the better option. :)

I was just curious. I feel bad for my cats . . . They might get jealous of Neptune.
Not that I can "really" imagine why, but yesterday I saw my husbands cat trying to mount my cat *grumbles*
