thanks much.. my female RES eye stell puffy but the red color moved away.. she eats well & health acording what u say..1-should i worry?? & if not when should i start worring ?

2-my tank temp range bet 25 and 29 when basking should i bring a heater? & i am afraid of the cold weather after a couple of monthes?

3-how much time they need to grow & be the size of my hand?

How puffy is the eye, can you post a picture? If I think 25-26C is fine, but yes, get a heater if you think it will get colder.

Puffy eyes (or rather any persistent issue) should be checked out.

hey i am how are u ???.... my pc come back and i will post the pics very soon... i was asking about how to know if your RES is growing ?? and how much time it will take to reach about 5cm or more ?? another thing from a couple of days i found a RES has a kind of orange Bactria i caught it and clean it with a tooth brush softly using boric acid and water.... is that normal to find this bacteria ??? thanks again steve :)

Where did you find this orange stuff? Growth rates vary, some people chart their growth to compare with others.

i found these around the shell and a bit on the arms and head... but there appetite is perfect !!
something else: y my female RES always sleep in the water ?????

yes she still eating with a good appetite... i offer them chicken & dry worms & a little bit of shrimps & lettuce & squash.... but she always sleep in the water... and i noticed the male made this too tonight.... at night i make them sleep without any water cuz i did not find the right heater as my old one broke and its getting cold... thanks 4 yr help :)

Sleeping in water is normal, but I would expedite on finding them a proper heater.

i am trying but cant find a low watt cuz my tank is small... again plz recommend me a kind of uv bulb through amazon online... not expensive.. good quality..
